You Have The Capacity To Transform Debt To Wealth

Unfortunately, we will live in world where materialism is encouraged. We are bombarded with images of material things that we “should” be buying. Their marketing and advertising strategies do work because when payday comes, where do we usually head out to? The mall, of course, so that we can buy things we think we need, like that new pair of expensive shoes.

When we buy things (usually expensive items) that are not actually a necessity and use credit cards with sky high interest rates, we become in debt. When we fail to pay the bills on time, we become more in debt.

What many of us do is, we only pay the interest and rarely the principal amount. When we only pay for the interest, we are just wasting money because the interest is different from the principal amount. You can only make your debt smaller if you pay the principal amount.

You must understand that you have the capacity to transform debt to wealth. You just have to make that decision to change your lifestyle and prioritize paying for your debt. It can be a difficult process but you have to go through with it in order to start anew.

First things first, cut off those credit cards to prevent you from using it. This will take away the chance of you making a purchase out of it. Avoid online shopping as well because even if you have cut up your credit cards, you will still be able to use the credit card details to make purchases.

Cut corners so that the extra money that you can save will go to paying the credit card bill. If you used to purchase bottles of soda, drop the habit and stick to drinking water instead. You will realize how much money you actually spend on Coca Cola or Dr. Pepper.

Cut the subscription to that magazine. The money that goes to that subscription should go towards paying for the bill. There are many more ways on how you cut your spending habits. Follow a debt to wealth plan so that you will no longer live indebted to these credit card companies.

The process of getting out of debt may take long but you just have to push through and take it one day at a time. Eventually, you will reach that status of being debt-free. That day, when you no longer owe any credit card companies money, is the day when you can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
